Welcome

Hi KatiePack1; i just wanted to point out something you may already know, or may not. In this edit (you can click on the word this to see it) you incorrectly formatted White's name, by changing from '''John Henry White''' to ===John Henry White===. The three single quotes is the way WP's software is told to make bold the words enclosed, which is what we do the first time an article's subject is mentioned. The three equals signs tell it to make a new section heading. Anyway, it's been fixed, so no harm done. Welcome, and please let me know if i can help in any way. Cheers, LindsayHi 10:57, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
Oh thank you Lindsay! I am just starting out and am trying to learn more about the proper WP editing techniques. I appreciate the advice! And actually, I do have just another question if you don't mind my asking. What is the proper format to respond to someone like I am doing now. Do I need to sign my own addition to my talk page if responding to someone? KatiePack1 (talk) 17:20, 10 December 2010 (UTC)

Deletion discussion about Scott Etzler
[edit]Hello, KatiePack1,
I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Scott Etzler should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Scott Etzler .
If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
Thanks, Sulfurboy (talk) 13:40, 26 May 2013 (UTC)
Help with MetLife?
[edit]Hi Katie, I've been looking for editors to help with some updates and corrections for the MetLife article and to do that, I was looking around at various similar companies and saw that you've made some helpful edits on the Allstate article both recently, and in the past. I was wondering, given that you're also a member of WikiProject Brands, if you'd be interested to take a look at MetLife. I've been offering some edits there as part of my work (I work for an agency called Beutler Ink and we are providing consulting to MetLife) and have been looking for editors to review my suggestions, rather than making edits myself. There are some small requests that I've made recently about updating existing material to improve the references, chronology and accuracy. If you have a bit of time to look them over, it would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance for your input. 16912 Rhiannon (Talk · COI) 21:02, 9 December 2015 (UTC)
